Ok back to catching up on fall sessions. This leads me to one of my favorite families, the Orsulic Family.
Let me take this opportunity tell you a little tidbit about Croatians. I’m married to one so I’ll give you the inside scoop. They are extremely tidy people. At first I thought it was just my husband’s engineer mentality, but no, getting to know his big family, they are all the same. Completely spotless. If you walk into a Croatian’s home, you will never see a smudge on a baseboard, a crumb on the floor, or a speck of soap scum in their showers. I can specifically remember using the bathroom at my husband’s aunt’s home the first time I visited, and I literally searched for any sign of imprecation. Couldn’t find it. It was truly amazing. (If you ever walk into my house and see anything untidy, it is only because my husband lives with me and our 2 kids. He just can’t compete.)
The Orsulic Family (we’re related by the way…Zoran is my husband’s cousin’s wife’s cousin…did you catch that?) definitely fall into this category of neat and clean, so you can imagine my horror when we arrived at our shooting location to find that it was EXTREMELY wet and muddy. Out of all of the families I could have brought to a mess of a park, it had to be the Croatians! Lucky for me, they were great sports about it and didn’t hate me for making them trek through the wetness to get some good family shots. Phew!
Here are some of my favorites from their session.
